Sunday night
Trying to get EAC and LAME to play together so I can get some mp3's of new songs loaded on my SanDisk M240. I created a batch file for all the commands to convert the wavs to mp3, and my syntax was right, I jsut forgot to put "" around each song title. Whew! Glad that's fixed! I'll work on streamlining the whole process later, I just had to get some mp3's on my player!

Last night's Celebrate Recovery session went pretty well, considering. The keyboard player was needed at home, so it was just me and my guitar, the other singers, the drummer, and a bass player we brought in at the very last minute. I think it went allright, I believe the congregation was ministered to. They seem to be pretty forgiving.
I HAVE to get everybody all the appropriate music - stuff to listen to (MP3's), as well as stuff to look at (charts, lyrics). That, and trying to communicate with everybody via email or phone, seems like it will be the hardest task for me to do as we move forward in this commitment.
Gotta run. Maybe I can write some more tonight.

Monday
Work was busy as usual - the NOSC keeps trying to take one step forward, but it keeps pushing network changes down our throat like we were baby birds in the nest. Since they never tell us what they're doing, we have to figure fixes out on the fly, which makes for hectic Mondays.
And all I wanted to do when I came here was to get out of desktop support and work on servers in a nice, quiet corner.
I have to have my setlist for tomorrow's Celebrate Recovery meeting finalized by tonight. I restrung my guitar last night; I had broken my "G" string during Tuesday's practice! How often has THAT happened to you? It looks like it broke at the bridge, which is weird.
That's it so far. It's a monumental start, isn't it?
